Avolta Next 2024  Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Please read these rules carefully before entering the Avolta Next 2024 Global Startup Challenge ("the Competition"). By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements set forth below.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to enter the Competition, you must: (a) be at least 18 years old at the time of entry (and the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside, if older). (b) have an established company.


Competition Process:

Entry to the competition shall be by filling up the application form  published on the Vine Stone Ventures website. A qualified jury of Avolta executives will select the winners to participate in the event in Europe at the beginning of October.  The decision taken by the panel of expert regarding the participation is final.
Incomplete applications may also lead to disqualification.

 
Expenses:

Participating startups shall bear their own costs and expenses associated with their participation in the competition. This encompasses a variety of potential expenditures, including but not limited to the following:

Travel Expenses: All costs related to travel, whether by air, rail, or road, shall be borne by the participating startup.

Accommodation: All costs related to lodging, be it hotels, motels, or other forms of accommodation, are the sole responsibility of the participating startup.

Meals and Refreshments: Costs related to food and beverages are not covered by Vine Stone Ventures and shall be the responsibility of the participating startup.

Presentation Material: Any costs related to materials or equipment required for presentations during the competition shall be borne by the participating startup.

Vine Stone Ventures will not be responsible for, nor will it reimburse, any of these or other incidental expenses.

Vine Stone Ventures accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

Competition Entries:

Only one (1) entry per company is permitted. Multiple submissions or incomplete applications will lead to disqualification. Vine Stone Ventures accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind.

Intellectual Property:

All intellectual property rights in the submitted projects will remain the exclusive property of the participating startups. Startups are responsible for any disclosure of confidential or proprietary information. Vine Stone Ventures commits to maintaining the confidentiality of submitted information and will not disclose any confidential information to third parties, except to Avolta for the purpose of project evaluation.

 
Use of Submissions:

By entering the Competition, you grant us and our partners a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use and reproduce any non-confidential  submission for lawful purposes. For the avoidance of doubt, any confidential information you submit will not be used for purposes other than those related to this competition unless expressly agreed upon by both parties.

 
Changes to the Competition:

We reserve the right to modify these terms for clarification or if required by legal or administrative reasons.

 
Liability:

Vine Stone Ventures and Avolta are not liable for any direct or indirect losses or damages arising from your participation in the Competition.

 
Governing Law:

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel.
